gin & adrenaline and these unholy hands have been labors of love about the love of my life. They’re as much for me as they are for you, the reader. What began as a desperate need to get the words out of my head and onto the page, became a form of documenting our journey in a poetic and resonant way.
The beauty of these two books is that love and heartbreak are universal and I do my best to explore the truth of those experiences and the way I felt them in my body.
I’ve studied the Greats at length and they always left me wanting more, something I could really connect with. Really feel in my bones. I strive to embody that missing element in my work to create an experience for the reader that they can’t find anywhere else. Not every poem will resonate with every reader and that’s okay. If even one piece from the book strikes a chord, it will have been worth it.
