Michaela Titus – poet/drag king

I’m from Michigan, born and raised. I moved to the UP for University and got my BS in Fine Arts and Modern Languages and Literature. I studied Theatre, Performance Writing, Creative Writing, Philosophy, and Poetry (I’m highly employable.) All of my studies inform my work (shout-out to Lauren Gunderson for being an inspiration from the page to the stage.)

I self-published my first book, gin & adrenaline, on Amazon in December 2020, fulfilling my childhood dream of holding a book I’ve written in my own two hands. And I owe a huge thank you to all who supported me along the way.

I was born curious and I hope to die that way, as well. I seek answers through my work and all that does is leave me with more questions. I hope you find what you’re looking for within.
